MarTech Boston 2018

Recently back from MarTech Conference in Boston. Going the next step in marketing automation and bots. Focusing on local (cars / real estate) and ticket sales. Also had the chance to attend Q4 Confidential put on by Drift: Conversational Marketing last night which was great and bringing together the Boston new tech community. #marketingautomation #bot

First hire and the architect of VB’s news distribution and analysis platform supporting editorial and marketing activities in Europe and the United States. Co-founders were former colleagues from AOL (one my VP at AOL).

  • Defined data gathering and warehousing requirements for training future machine learning capabilities to support a personalized content engine.
  • Operationalized data entry and content aggregation by collaborating with Head of Editorial and executive team to define new product and database requirements.
  • Scaled product offerings in 2016 by upgrading to a SaaS platform built on Amazon Web Services that enables more complex data integrations and cuts publishing time by 75%.
  • Identified and implemented business support systems for automated marketing integration, financial cloud services, and telephony.

2014 – Managed data analytics platform implementation for leading digital media buyer.

2015 – Created an analytics-driven sales tool prototype for Global and North American CEOs.

  • Managed client-side activities in developing a Tableau-based analytics platform.
  • Defined reporting and workflow requirements to implement Tableau dashboard based on the user level (Executive, Manager, Specialist) to cut account team reporting hours by 50%-75%.
  • Integrated data APIs to share client, partner and performance data.
